MLMM Sunday Writing Prompt 3-10-19 -All in the Title

Mr. and Mrs. Deadtree loved their daughter Marie without question, but they were constantly worried. They thought of her as The Girl With the Cast Iron Smile, never letting her true feelings show. Surprised The First Day Marie seemed Suddenly In Love with someone, but they were encouraged.

As plans were constantly delayed, their daughter seemed to have Invisible Roommates as trying to meet her friends was a Hollow Entreaty. They were also anxious to meet her beau, but her sudden happiness seemed to disappear like Light Interrupted in an otherwise dark day. It was A Distant Hum on The Other Side of Nothing as they realized it was a temporary pause in the Dark Days: Biography of a Self-Possessed Cynic, a sad memoir of their daughter’s life.
