I have very few mementos with me since most things are in storage. I have items on my bureau my grandkids have made, little things. I have theirs and my kids’ drawings etc, still after 50+ years. Items anyone handcrafts for me are especially dear.

That stuff is my favorite. We have a Rubbermaid bin for each boy with all their drawings, macaroni art, etc. All of it, from preschool on. 😃

It’s the good stuff, isn’t it? I have a puff ball missing an eye that was made by my 24 yr old grandson to decorate the tree a million years ago.

Hahaha! Yeah, we’ve still got all the handmade ornaments too. I can’t wait to use some of that stuff to embarrass them in front of their future wives. 😃😃

It’s always special if we get hand made stuff from our kids and grand kids.

As someone who crafts, I appreciate that. I try to put something special into everything I make, whether I know the person who is getting it or not.
