Santa is done
The stockings are empty
The presents opened
The Yuletide log is burned out
The tree is shedding needles
The mistletoe is drooping, but hanging on
The holiday pudding is sitting in the fridge, forgotten
And the tired reindeer and elves take a short break till January first to do it all again.

The Bag Lady 
When we were in the hospice on Christmas Eve half an hour before mum passed. A nurse said to my sister and I “Santa wants to see you! “ Christine said “do we have to! The nurse said yes, so like two children we saw him and he gave us both a present. She got chocolate liquors which she likes and I got some chocolate. I will never forget that moment. Lol.
