As I listened to this today, I realized just how sexist it is…T would love it!😳🤠😎😂The next thing that hit me was that at my age of 18 when this came out, I truly believed those words.

In her autobiography, Ms. Springfield said she didn’t want to sing the song this way. She had different lyrics that were NOT sexist and the record label had them changed. Yes, I read too much! lol

I know there are a few sexist songs I am sometimes appalled that I didn’t know this at the time of the feminist movement!! 🤔
