I think they’re yummy

Chewy and juicy he said with a spoonful

There’s only one thing I despise

They look suspiciously like eyes!

She quickly overturned the fare

Knowing what ghastly goobers were there

Oh no my dear, they’re hard boiled eggs

Those things you see are just the dregs

Of herbs and spices I used to absorb

And cover the bland flavor of the orbs.
