Daily Prompt: Snippet

Today being November 29, I am anxious for the new season of the “Vikings”, a History Channel offering I enjoy. It is violent as they reportedly were, but it is also informative. Here is a snippet, (violence warning) in the original trailer. Ragnar, played by Travis Fimmel, can be vicious, or endearing, even touching at times. In the first season each episode was followed up by actual fact finding episodes named “Real Vikings”.

  1. Awwwwwww I looooooooooooooove Vikings (ok, anyone would have guessed that!) But seriously, it is a great series! I was a bit afraid, when Chéri recorded the first episodes, because I had high expectations!

  2. I can’t wait for Vikings to come back on! I love this show. And the MUSIC. That deep Viking chanting with the drums. Gets the blood pumping. I wonder what will happen next. All I know is that I do NOT like Ivar.

    3. I love watching highlight clips of the fight scenes. SHIELD WALL! Makes me wish I could just be an extra on the show. Don’t even give me any lines. Just an axe and a shield.

    5. Wonder if you’re as disappointed as I was in Vikings last night. The L scene with the king prisoner was totally unnecessary and I thought stupid. L used to be a better character. I think the critics are right. I enjoyed the first seasons because of Ragnar. Also Loki, I don’t like the new direction.

    6. Lagertha’s character arc has been pretty wild and unpredictable. Not really sure where they’re headed with her. I haven’t actually seen the premiere yet. I have it DVR’d and gonna watch it this weekend with my parents.
