She was almost moonstruck, watching the light sparkling on the water. This ragtag journey was even more than she hoped for. Swishing her hand through the salt water, she wished the boat would carry her on forever. She had read of catching the wanderlust of the sea and now she knew it was true.
He kept hoisting the sail. They would be clear of the lighthouse beam soon enough. Their adventure was about to begin.
