When I broke the bone in my hip and leg I was already unsteady on my feet. The broken bones resulted from falling off a three wheeled scooter on pavement. NEVER purchase a three wheeled scooter. They tip!
In the hospital they tried to move me from the bed without hurting me, using a similar (above) device. I can only imagine what sadist invented this. After two nurses trying to get me into the device and then it collapsed, needless to say I said no thanks. From then on it was a gingerly retrieval of my legs to the side of the bed and then to a wheelchair. Boy am I glad that’s over!

It was my fault, I wasn’t paying attention. I finally learned not to lean to pick up anything and absolutely no going over bumps!😳
