A walk in the forest she took with glee
Surprised and delighted a bear to see
Not very shy, she took a chance
“I say, Mr. Bear, would you like to dance?”
Circus bears may generate schmaltz
But this dear beast began to waltz
The young lady was not shy
Looked the bear straight in the eye
Rustling petticoats swirled about
Forest creatures began to sprout
All fascinated by the show
Now even you will know
If in the woods and perchance
See a bear, ask it to dance.
