I had it a million years ago as an after dinner drink at a Greek restaurant in Houston. We had a “dinner plan” sampling different cuisine and it made it possible for a once a week date night. Nice for a new mother😉☺️

While I hesitate to say, “i’ve had a lot”. It depends on what one would call a lot? Certainly more than a few bottles through my lifetime. It’s very herby. It should be mixed with water. It’s been some years since the last. Cheers Jamie.

I had several Greek Cypriot friends growing up. Being invited to family weddings or other functions was always a … blast! Was in Greece in mid nineties. A wonderful country but very poor outside of the southern part and Peloponnese. Everything is geared to tourism. My favourite part visited was Meteora. Not so much the monasteries built on sandstone cliffs but the modest town below where the true Greece could be sampled. The islands were beautiful but same thing .. tourism. Like Ouzo, loved it! Cheers Jamie.

Anthony Quinn was part Mexican. In real life, he pursued my once girlfriend’s, mother. She had a framed poster of the film, signed by Mr. Quinn. If not Zorba? Some other one of his movie’s?
I enjoyed that film, as did many others. I felt for the “widow” in that movie. She was mistreated. Cheers Jamie.

The movie was a rough look at Greece at the time. I liked it, but AQ was a good actor. Who is referred to as a method actor? I watched the trailer, was going to use that, but decided the dance was more generally palatable.😉
