Amen, sista! I wish you’d convince all my patients f this fact! I’m not a miracle worker. They have to put forth some level of effort.

It is hard, and us therapists understand that, and will accommodate as needed. But, we also understand what not doing it does to them as well. It may hurt, but the struggle can become a long-standing and deteriotating scene in a hurry. Got to get up and move. Simple as that. When they refuse, there’s not much we can do for them.
