Howdy from Wyoming! a sunny day with rain expected and snow tomorrow. Did someone say Spring? Thanks again to https://ceenphotography.com for her Share Your World idea. Such a fun way to learn about fellow bloggers!
1. My middle name is Lea pronounced Lee and I’ve never liked it. My mom and dad took turns naming my sisters and me. My middle sister and I got lovely middle names, hers is Lou. The other two received combo names, no middles, like Joanne. Bitter? Do I sound bitter? Nah…π
2. If I’m doing housework, which tbh, is a rare occurrence, I have music on for motivation. When I had children at home, the favorite working song was “Travelling Salvation Show” by Neil Diamond. When the kids came home from school and heard it, there were groans all around. If I’m writing here, I have to have quiet. Playing games or doing puzzles on the iPad, I have headphones with music.
3. I don’t have a lot of possessions I treasure, but things I wouldn’t be without are anything made for me by my kids or grandkids. I also have rocks, stones that my sweeties used to bring every visit. I carry a couple of these in my backpack for luck. Yes, I also throw spilled salt over my left shoulder. Among my favorite items made by grandkids are, origami swan, artwork, paper cat, paper star, all crafted by hand.
4. There are a lot of nevers, some sad ones due to my physical ability, such as dancing, walking with the kids, driving, hanging anything like drapes, pictures, standing under a shower and just letting it wash over you without having to hold the wand.
I will never eat any “buggy” looking type food such as shrimp. I will never drink milk. I will never dye my hair. I will never give up my morning coffee. I’ll never give in to despair.
I am grateful for last week’s trip to the movies to see “Beauty and the Beast”. I haven’t seen a musical for a while. It was enjoyable but I think I’m not as enamored of them as I used to be. I think I’m getting more impatient with age and some of the scenes were too long, just my own opinion. My family gave it seven and a half out of five stars.π
This week I am looking forward to helping my grandson with the replacement of his car engine. It’s only fair since he is my chauffeur! This week is spring break for the littles in the family so we’ll spend time together, which is my most favorite pastime.

Over the hill and under the lea, that’s the way to go to the sea …. spreading our joy for all to see. Paper, stone, metal or tree. That’s the way to visit our Lea.
I quite like shrimp, personally. Yet I agree, snails of the sea, maybe? I have stopped consuming anything from the Pacific. That radiation from Fukushima just does not look appetizing. Most shrimp comes from Thailand or Bangladesh. The former fishermen were forced off their land and or killed. To lay out the shrimp pens, to feed the North American appetite.
Humans treat others abysmally. Ohh yeah Wyoming, one of the landlocked states. Liked Walt Longmire.
I think the Sioux were treated poorly. The again, they seem to have fared better than some other indigenous groups? Ohh but it was a great land without inhabitants, we’re taught?
Cheers Jamie.

Yes, poorly, and still today. We are all immigrants and need to remember that.

One of my friends is also Lea pronounced Lee, and never liked it. What is it with that name? π xoxoM

Even with the a it’s a boy’s name. Also my teacher insisted it was pronounced Leah which is worse! A child knows how to pronounce their own name. One of my granddaughters is named Sterlie. Everyone spells it sterile, some teachers even say that!ππ±
