The Donkey Arrived!

I loved the donkeys I saw at https://dinosaursdonkeysandms.com/ and asked Dizzy where I could find these cuties.  He told me it was a donkey sanctuary aptly named The Donkey Sanctuary located in the U.K.  I wanted one for my daughter who needed an inspiration hug and always loved them.  She and her husband and family had miniature donkeys in Colorado, along with horses, dogs and cats.  We all miss them.  

When you order you don’t know what you’ll receive because they are all individually handmade.  Imagine the surprise when he arrived looking exactly like Eeyore.  Somebody up there likes us is a phrase we often use, and it is proved once again.  Eeyore, the sad eyed donkey from the “Winnie the Pooh” series of books by A.A. Milne is my daughter’s favorite character, at 46!😄

Here’s some pictures of the cutie.  He’s not little either.  I thought he would be small, had no idea really, just took a chance.

  2. Our kids have both got Tigga’s (although mum claims one is hers and I think she’s going to be in for a fight when Miss 8 is older), they both have Pooh Bears and our eldest daughter has an Eeyore, everyone loves Pooh.

    8. My mum goes on holidays tomorrow so I’m going to be free from being seen 😛

      When I get time to critique I will but with all the writing I do, the kids school and kinder, house stuff and everything else time to critique bites into reading time and people tell me off if I don’t read.

    12. It is true, I refuse to do reciprocal following and I cull people every day because I don’t like what they post and it’s funny too see how many people stop following you once you stop following them.

    1. She loved him, took him under her arm immediately. Backstory: My husband was given a brown furry real looking stuffed animal donkey as a baby. My daughter claimed him right away and now has him up on the shelf in her living room. She also named her new car Blaster after my husband’s alma mater, Colorado School of Mines, mascot.😳😂
