Wordle #144

Winter was all around. The trees were bald of leaves and their scraggly branches seemed to appear as if they were abandoned. The only flaw in the atmosphere was the different glow from the sun, stretching their shadows into long wispy lengths.

The afternoon sun always pleased Lucinda. She was happy to be named after a star and was as bright and full of light as it was. It’s plausible that her mother was also a lover of nature. Each time they entered a forest or meadow, she would point out beautiful things to her daughter. This was a good way to teach her daughter to appreciate her mirabilis surroundings. Lucinda learned a lot about nature from her mother.

This night as the sun disappeared, Lucinda and her mother waited to see Lucinda’s namesake in the evening sky.
