Look at the world.

Read the news.

Twitter or Facebook, 

Oh, my heavens.

What they voice

Their loves. Their hates.

Do we ever really contemplate?

It’s easy to read 

Easy to look and make a quick assessment

Of a person, their opinion, thoughts

But do we ever really look behind that mask?

Do we really want to delve that deep

Take the time and effort to look inside

To listen to the real person?

Or is it the seriousness that scares us?
