Firstly I need to emphasize

I’m not one to criticize

However if I knew you

You’d think this was hardly true.

Outwardly I remain mute

Inwardly I might refute

Words of some spoken here

I try to keep opinions clear

In other ways.

But some days

You just need to vent

Want to reinvent

With hope and promise

Even compromise

If criticism is only there 

There is no help or share

We’ll stand alone, end up defeated

Is that how we want to be treated?
