Daily Prompt:  Scent

One thing impressive to passersby

Is a person’s scent, if it’s not shy

Powerful perfumes make me sneeze

My nose left wanting a fresh breeze

To dispel the unwanted aroma

Some might even cause a coma!

Of course odors can also dispel

Such as certain sweat or worse smells

I should refrain from being picky

Although hot, wet bodies, even sticky….

Okay I guess I’ve run the gamut

And rudely written enough smut

I haven’t even approached a wet dog’s aroma

For that you don’t need a vet’s diploma

Just take your pet for a walk in the rain

That will heighten your disdain

Of odors, smells, aromas and more

The scent of all, even those you adore.
