The Challenge is on?

My friend over in Australia

Never ceases to avail ya

Of a funny poem or story

Or a murder oh so gory

Since I’m on permanent vacation

I offer up this invitation

To write a story or love poem

While listening to La Bohème

We’ll see if he responds

Or frightened, he absconds

With pen and paper or typewriter

Or write it, making my day brighter.

    1. To most of us in this country where we have laws against such monstrous accidents waiting to happen those big modified trucks are a joke. We have plenty of modified trucks here but thankfully we can’t drive them on the road.

    2. My grandson turned this up on our way to the movies. The chew tobacco spit part I thought was funny. In real life I think it’s disgusting. Have seen plenty of it. I don’t know the rules of the road but have seen a few of them here on the highway.

    3. I couldn’t stand him on The Voice. He talked over all the singers. He was better this season, but I didn’t watch all of it. “SIX” starts tonight here at eight pm.

    4. Nope too young for that but they were at least a decent group. Despite age and death they are still going, there wont be many people saying the same thing for today’s reality tv stars in 50 years

    5. Well I’ll give my kids the password to this account and they can post on this site in 50 years time all the “reality” stars that are still known for what they got famous for.

If Blake saves me I’ll read it and if JC saves you you can read it.

    6. Matthew Reilly cops a lot of crap in this country for writing books that are predictable, unrealistic and childish but most of it is just a case of jealousy because of the way he broke into writing. The guy is however a great story teller and he writes such fast packed action that it does leave the reader tired at times. Of course his heroes do unbelievable things but he writes fiction, it seems our aussie critics forget that.

    7. I don’t mind critics like you 🙂 but MR constantly cops it from aussies for the same things. We have a massive case of jealousy in this country, when one of our own is a success in our chosen field rather than praise them we have to tell everyone else how shit they are.
