Hyperbole

I have always spoken like this. Even with my grandkids (one thirteen year old always calls me on it, the stinker!) I say “millions” frequently. “Dozens, hundreds, etc” always when I’m explaining something. “I’ve already said NO a zillion times!” Probably just frustrated mom talk, but I was guilty of it. I suppose most moms and dads feel like they’ve said it at least that many times, but it’s just hyperbole. I can remember being told “I’ll knock you into next week”.  Probably a good thing I don’t remember what I did then…..?
