A midnight warrior never rests
A false king needs to be revealed
And I am the one his fate to seal
Never seeking another night
Where I’m called to stop a fight
Of good versus evil or save the day
In my daily life I can look away
Darkness comes and my spirit soars
A calling to me to stop the wars
End the suffering of the oppressed
It is my duty and I’ll do my best.
Dragged, damp, dirty, discouraged, disillusioned, disgusted, dispirited, diligent, dutiful.
