It took Cyranny to point out the cause of my lack of Christmas spirit – no tinsel on my tree. I knew it was something, just couldn’t put my finger on it.

We have gone minimal with a miniature tree on the sideboard.

That was me last year. Tbis year a green fake 5 footer but lights are my favorite.

As a child, it was my job to hang the tinsel on the tree. I HATED that job!

We all decorated together and it was fun. Then the old foil tinsel disappeared and the ugly plastic stuff came out.

We don’t have any on our tree either and I miss it but with the dog around and the mess it makes we decided not to. Well, everyone else decided not to. 🙂
