Every evening around six
Especially in winter
When darkness comes quick
He sits there so silent
Just watching and sees
Observing from the safety of trees
He’s not really mean
Doesn’t get distressed
Just watches from there
Every person’s mess
He sometimes chuckles
Only silent ones
Just to himself
After evil’s been done
He wonders if they’ll ever learn
When they’ll try to discern
That their actions of evil
Don’t cause change, they just churn
Causing discord and hatred that burns
He sits up high away from it all
Observing we humans
With our minds so small.
Nope, we will never learn. As they say in India- We are like that only!

I often wonder what they think of us.
