Daily Prompt:  Gone

Gone, yup, just gone. Every living thing, gone, as far as I can see. Completely flat, not even a hill! Why I survived, I’ll never know. It’s completely barren now. A dirt landscape with no trees, no birds, no grass, no animals. Not even tracks of any kind! It’s as if it’s the very beginning of a new world…..but why am I here? Why did I survive only to be tortured by my existence? What kind of hell is this?
