The winter solstice came and went and I am a mere snowflake away from the tremulous darkness of a liquid goodbye. You can catalog my feelings as an absolute channel of contrary stubbornness as I refuse to recline into a pool of melted snow. I quote Rodney Dangerfield, who said “I get no respect, no respect at all”. That fact is obvious by the lack of a nose and mouth on my person. So sad.

I love it! “a mere snowflake away…” is such a great phrase. This brings to mind how, when my oldest son was little, we drove to see snow and took our dogs. We build a small snowman, adding a carrot nose (we brought the carrot for that purpose), turned away, and the dog was eating it! No nose for that snowman! I think I still have a photo somewhere.

That’s a great story! We moved from TX to CO when our kids were 1,2 and 4 and they saw their first snowman and it was a huge storm so built a huge one in backyard😀 Good memories
awesome! I think this was fab! ❤
