Sew on a button?

You’ve got to be kidding!

My eyesight is only fair to middling

Even if I could see the button’s holes

To thread a needle is an impossible goal

My eyes are the first thing to go

Even my mind is now a bit slow

I try to stay “in the know”

But this body aging is a sorry blow.
