Herb liked to present himself in a good light, always dressing neatly, wearing the latest fashion, wanting to appear confident in his demeanor. This was his goal in life, to be “normal”, to appear in control, be accepted as an example of what a man should be. It was only that last glance in the mirror that he saw his true self.
