Bottoms up Bert 😢

Bert’s day began like any other, a quick swim, grabbing a few bites flying about and then just floating around on the lake. It was an easy life really, and even though he found it a bit boring at times, he was grateful.

Deciding he would meet Murray in the next cove for their daily chat, he was airborne for only a few seconds when something hit him , hard! Apparently they both had forgotten to look at their calendars to note hunting season had begun.

As Murray sorrowfully watched, Bert landed in an awkward clump, his uneventful life was over.
