What a bother picking up
The paper mask, the coffee cup
Toss it, it’s had its use
Now it’s just a piece of refuse
Why bother to use a trash receptacle
Leave it as another careless spectacle
Soon it will join another
Why bother?

Gah! Littering drives me mad, laziness. I like how you elicited my righteous anger.

It may seem a bother but looking at trash is bothersome for sure.

It saddens me so to see litter tossed out on the road. Luckily we have a great volunteer organization in Portland called SOLV to help clean up our streets when this happens.
I like how you wrote a poem to increase awareness of a problem.

I am happy to live in a smallish city that takes great pride in its cleanliness …. others are not as fortunate …. I enjoyed this quadrille.

Oh, I feel this deeply! The masks are particularly bad where I live. But we MUST bother, yes?
