SoCS 11-21-20

This prompt made me laugh, after of course I found out I would be refunded the 15 plus dollars I spent on salmon in my grocery order.

It was a large order and I’m pretty much set for a month or year, whatever it takes. I digress. . .by the time I got to unload the last bag, I could tell the salmon was yucky. It looked bad and smelled horrid! I am not a fish person and if it smells fishy, except for canned tuna, it is not fresh.

I double wrapped it in foil and put it in the freezer. I bet you’re thinking–well I don’t know what you’re thinking–like has she finally gone off the deep end?

It was dark already and I don’t go out in the apartment complex by myself in the dark, so couldn’t trash it=freezer option.

I called the store and they are refunding my money, had a laugh over how I wrapped and froze the smelly seafood, and were very cooperative. I may be counting my chickens?

Today my granddaughter who was a Starbucks barista in college, is coming over to show me how to use an espresso machine. It was a black friday impulse buy and I’m not sure if I’ll keep it.

    1. They owe me money and service was 50% bad. I finally gave up trying to get my refund, told them to keep it because they’ll need it when they run out of business having such poor customer service😂
