Three Line Tales

The bus was ready to leave. Joe looked anxiously at the street. All he wanted was to be free and he couldn’t be here, not with them.

Thinking they did it for love, his parents tried to rule his every movement, even his thoughts were not his own. Living life at seventeen was supposed to be the best time of his life but with his overbearing parents, he saw none of that.

Joe had secretly saved enough to take the bus to a different state, away from his oppressive parents.
