I love my treats
They make me slurple.

The larger cousins want Mayor Cheese
Being rats, they’re easy to please
My buddies residing in this cage
Want something more new age
Such as crumbs tartare rubbed with sage
That make pleasant leavings here in the cage
Providers of these treats would be
Mayor Guinea Pig and Company.
Rabbits and gerbils all insist
To get out and vote, even resist!
Our choice for mayor should reflect
The outcome we want and expect.
