Hardly anyone realized how important he was. That is, unless they went up on the ridge and looked down to see this. A mysterious monument to him, by an unnamed sculptor. Only those who shared the civil rights movement in 1966 know what this roughly hewn stone means. He was a leader, a protestor, a visionary. The brave souls who fought along side him knew how powerful he could be. This monument is a secret tribute to him, and the movement. No one knows, fifty years later, if he is still alive or where he is, but they are still in awe of his influence.
