Going through hidden away papers, files, cards, letters, I found what I searched for a few months ago. Your letter of affirmation. You wrote so beautifully, expressing feelings I heard you say, and I loved your voice, by the way. You knew I loved hearing it.

You penned a love letter and within you said you were writing it so I could look at it from time to time, as I did today. Since you’ve been away I tried not to think of you, as I once did. Reading the letter again, tears flowed freely and brought you back.
