Daily Prompt:  Exquisite

In Colorado there’s a place you must visit

Up in the mountains, it’s just exquisite!

The only way to get there is a ride in a jeep

Of course that doesn’t always come cheap.

But an excellent driver is what you need

The trails are rocky, you must take heed

The trails are steep, some on a ledge

Experienced drivers keep clear of the edge.

This trip will give you views worth a paint

A long look down might make you faint.

But wonders abound up in these heights

Flowers, and animals, oh, such sights.

I recommend when you take this trip

Be cautious and careful not to slip

There are no guardrails or barriers to use

You wouldn’t like a fast downward cruise

The beauty you see is well worth the time

The Colorado mountains are truly sublime.
