Now that I have been accepted
To a new home, I’m attempting
To stay calm instead of thinking
Of the items that need linking
From here to there
And exactly where
And if each item is a need or a spare.
As old as I am
My caboodle is jammed
From travels across the states
Just as it is with cups and plates
Never mind the knives, forks or spoons
Much stuff may not fit in new rooms.
